Today we are doing a special Facebook live in aid of National Skin Cancer Action Week. We are joined by special guest presenter Joanne Crotty from Danger Sun Overhead to chat about sun safety for tradies.
Did you know that 2 in 3 Australians are diagnosed with skin cancer by age 70? That is a very scary statistic. National skin cancer action week is an important reminder of the risks of exposure to UV radiation, the need for sun protection and early skin cancer detection for all Australians.
With skin cancer, prevention is the key. Most tradies spend the majority of their day slaving onsite in the sun, with little or no protection. Join us as we discuss how to keep you and your staff safe onsite and avoid the dangers of sun cancer.
Below are the links to the Sunsmart App which is discussed in this video. Be sure to download it to your device today!
