TradiePad is on a mission to help all tradie, construction and field service businesses perform at their peak potential through technology education and awareness. Why? Because we are tradies ourselves and have witnessed first hand the difference technology can make to a mobile business.
The Tradiepad story starts back in 2010 when Clinton Cowin and David Robbins successfully implemented the use of iPad's and Apps into their plumbing business, Waste Deep Plumbing, located on Sydney's Northern Beaches. After taking delivery of the original iPad, and thousands of hours of app testing, research and trial and error, they found the business was finally 'paperless'.
This had a profound effect on the efficiency, profitability and professionalism of the business and also led to significant changes in their personal lives.
Upon realising the value of what they had created, Clinton and David decided it was time to share the power of these new tools with other tradies and business owners allowing them too to start taking control and loving their businesses again.
They could also see the bigger picture of the way technology was helping remove the stigma associated with trades and service-based businesses. The rest of the business world had been using computers to run their operations for decades but trades and field services had been left behind causing inefficiencies and poor business practices. Finally, the industry has some tools that can solve these problems and allow business owners to excel in their trade and at running a business.
This has since been validated after helping thousands of businesses across Australia and New Zealand understand and adopt technology solutions that have changed their lives. However, this is only the tip of the iceberg, our goal is to have every tradie and field services business in Australia running a paperless operation and leading the world with technology use in business.
