Noble Power Solutions is a specialist high voltage electrical business with its head office in Launceston, Tasmania, and additional bases in Victoria and Queensland. Led by Managing Director Jamieson Birch, the team delivers high voltage electrical testing, commissioning, design, installation, fault response, and maintenance services across commercial, industrial, utility, infrastructure, and EPC projects.
As the business grew, managing projects, people, expenses, and reporting across multiple systems was becoming increasingly difficult. The Challenge
Too Many Systems, Not Enough Visibility
Before working with TradiePad, Noble Power Solutions was managing different parts of the business across multiple platforms. Job information, project data, timesheets, and historical records were spread across different systems, creating extra work and making it harder to get a clear picture of project progress and profitability.

The business was spending around 20 hours a week on administration, often after hours, and needed a solution capable of handling complex projects, remote work environments, safety documentation, progress claims, and detailed reporting.
So far so good. It is chalk and cheese to what we had because what we had prior to this was in-house development or we had T-sheets from QuickBooks. It used to be a very manual process to create jobs and assign time sheets and jobs against the guys and things like that. I suppose we had effectively what we got now, but spread across three different platforms!

It's credit to our trainer Ray as well because particularly when we had the last session bringing all the guys in. Ray was able to answer the questions. He was able to explain why we were doing this, why we were embarking on this path, and sort of just give them a background of how the software works and how it all links together.
